2011 Mountain Moonshine Festival

MoonshineCome on out to Dawsonville, Georgia on October 22 and 23, 2011 for the 44th annual Mountain Moonshine Festival. You can listen to great stories being told about the legends of the time and their thrill of the chase. The festival opens at 8 AM and there will be a parade at 9 AM on Saturday, October 22 as well as a large car show with vintage racecars and their drivers. You can see an old time moonshine still. Enjoy crafts, food and entertainment on the square until 5 PM. The fun continues on Sunday, October 23 with many more activities including music, dancers, exhibits and children’s activities and, of course, more cars.

Admission is free so bring the whole family out for a festive day in the nice fall weather of the Northeast Georgia mountains.
