Bring the family out to Amicalola Falls State Park in Dawsonville, Georgia for the 4th of July weekend. Friday, July 1 through Monday, July 4, 2011 from 10 AM to 5 PM each day will be a celebration for Independence Day with relay races, patriotic crafts, and a watermelon seed spitting contest. Plan a picnic, a hike, a weekend camping trip, or maybe a stay in the lodge.
